We got here 10 min early for open on a saturday and I am so glad we did! By the the time we got our drinks the wait was an hr+. The line was wrapped around the building by 4. Everyone love this spot. And for good reason. The steak was cooked exactly how I want it and 11oz for the price was crazy! My baked potato was soft and hot and the suprise cocktail choice from my bartender was spot on. 10/10 will come back forsure.

First time here and decided to come here after my kiddos graduation from Boise State. The place gave me an old timey feel for a place back home in Montana when I was younger. We had to wait a little bit but only to be expected on A Saturday night. Also, if your full party is not there, then you don't get your table yet....deal with it. Once seated we were greeted right away by our server who took our drink order. Drinks came and then ordered the appetizer sampler plus added two more of the prawns to it. So good. Two of us had the larger prime rib. One with fries and the other with a loaded baked potato. The third had the prime rib dip. Also had the mushrooms for the prime rib. Man o man the food was wonderful, flavorful and super good. Someone from our server to whom I believe may have been one of the owners was always checking in with us. Great experience and if back in the Boise area we will be back.

We have dinned here a couple of time. The food is always amazing and the staff are awesome! For Veterans Day they literally gave any veteran an entrée meal on the house, no restrictions to what the choices were. That is absolutely amazing and kind! Will definitely be back here more frequently! Thank you!

Loved the old school charm and rustic style decor. Service was immediate and so welcoming, Shari was so friendly and helpful deciding what to order. Ended up with a very delicious Ribeye steak and also a very moist 1/2 broasted chicken, and the homemade pie was incredible. A great dining experience and with be going back very soon.

This place hasn't changed since I was a kid coming here with my parents. My husband and I have dinner on the regular and the ribeye and rolls never disappoint. Ps not a lot of places serve chocolate cream pie but this one does and it's fantastic. We've stopped by just to get some to go. Prime rib dip on sourdough (special request that was graciously honored) is outstanding as is the chocolate cream pie. Excellent service as usual, thank you Tina! Another update: bar prawns are huge and delicious. And we absolutely love Bruna!

Ally is so great! I had a great conversation with many of the people that were around me in the bar area. My lunch/dinner was absolutely amazing and atmosphere was so cool. I really really like this place. I’ve come here before and sat in the booths, and that was enjoyable as well the service is impeccable. The food is delicious and the price isn’t bad!!! it’s conveniently located right down the road from my house, which is also nice. I would suggest go in here to couples groups, business meetings, and like me solo.

For a true local experience. Generous portions and tasty. We enjoyed the steak, burger and onion rings. Yum. The historical setting and artifacts make the experience super special.
